Delivery Areas & Charges
We deliver freshly prepared Indian home-cooked meals across mainland UK.

We currently deliver to mainland UK addresses only. Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man are not covered at this time.

Orders placed after the cut-off will be included in the next available delivery slot.
How Your Meals Arrive
Your meals arrive chilled or frozen in insulated packaging designed to maintain safe temperatures during transit. Deliveries are made by DPD, and you will receive tracking information via email once your order is dispatched.
Important: Store all meals in the freezer on receipt and heat directly from frozen. Each meal includes full heating instructions on the label — most meals are ready in 3–7 minutes.
On Delivery Day
- You will receive a tracking link from DPD via email/SMS
- A one-hour delivery window will be provided on the day
- If you are not home, the driver will leave your parcel in your chosen safe place (set via DPD tracking)
- Please ensure someone is available or a safe place is selected, as meals are perishable
Delivery Issues
If your order arrives damaged, missing items, or does not arrive at all, please contact us within 24 hours of the expected delivery date:

We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion. Please include your order number and photos of any damaged items.
Subscription Orders
If you have an active meal subscription through our Subscribe & Save programme, your orders are dispatched automatically based on your chosen frequency. You can manage your subscription at any time through your account dashboard:
- Skip an upcoming delivery
- Pause your subscription
- Cancel your subscription
- Swap products in your next delivery
- Change delivery frequency (e.g. weekly, fortnightly)
- Update payment method or delivery address
Changes must be made before the relevant order cut-off time (Sunday 10:00pm for Tuesday delivery, Wednesday 10:00pm for Friday delivery) to take effect on your next order.
Storage & Reheating
We go to great lengths to deliver your meals in well-insulated, eco-friendly packaging that keeps everything cold during transit. Occasionally, smaller items may partially thaw in the final hours before arrival — particularly in warmer months or if there are courier delays — but your meals will still be colder than a standard chilled delivery.
As soon as your order arrives:
- Unpack and place all meals directly into your freezer
- Our meals are sealed and packed within minutes of cooking, so they are safe to freeze immediately on receipt
- When ready to eat, heat directly from frozen — no need to defrost first
- Most meals are ready in 3–7 minutes (microwave or hob)
- Full heating instructions are printed on every meal label
Storing meals in the freezer keeps them fresh for up to 30 days, so you can enjoy Saakshi's whenever the craving hits.
