The same kitchen rule the family site already says — written in full.
Kitchen-halal. Not a stamp on the box.
Every meat we cook — chicken, lamb, mutton, keema — is halal. That is the single rule our kitchen runs on, so you can pick any meat dish without checking each one. There is no separate “halal section”: the whole meat menu is kitchen-halal by default.
We cook without alcohol. No wine, no cooking sherry, nothing alcohol-based in a marinade, gravy or finishing sauce. Combined with kitchen-halal meat, that is everyday eating for most Muslim households at this table.
To be straight with you: this describes how we source and prepare meat in our own kitchen, not a third-party certification stamp on the box. We would rather you had the facts than a logo you cannot check.
That is a kitchen policy, not a third-party cert. No pork. No alcohol. FSA 5-star kitchen. Pure veg is cooked separately, if someone at the table does not eat meat.
- Kitchen-halal meats — every meat dish
- No alcohol in cooking
- Pure veg cooked separately
- FSA 5-star kitchen. No pork.

Who this box is for
This is for a UK household that wants ghar ka khana on a weeknight. Kitchen-halal chicken, mutton and keema already in the freezer. Kids' plates and an adult plate from the same box. Skip the Sunday cook.
It is not a student halls page. It is not a gift-from-abroad page (that is send-ghar-ka-khana). It is not a “certified halal” stamp. If you need a named cert body on the sleeve, this is not that box. We will not put a logo we cannot stand behind.
Where we deliver
We deliver frozen across UK mainland. Families already take boxes in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Cambridge, Edinburgh, and the other cities on the family book. Check your postcode on this page before you pick meals. Some areas we cannot reach.
Halal, honestly
Is it certified?
No. This is a kitchen policy, not a third-party certification stamp on the box.
To be straight with you: this describes how we source and prepare meat in our own kitchen, not a third-party certification stamp on the box. We would rather you had the facts than a logo you cannot check.
Do you cook pork?
No. Every meat we cook — chicken, lamb, mutton, keema — is kitchen-halal. We do not cook pork. There is no separate “halal section”: the meat menu is kitchen-halal by default.
Is it a mixed kitchen?
Yes. We cook meat and vegetarian food in the same kitchen. Pure vegetarian dishes are prepared separately from meat, so a mixed household can run a Signature box and a Pure veg box to the same address. We do not pretend it is a meat-free building.
Do you use alcohol in cooking?
No. No wine, no cooking sherry, nothing alcohol-based in marinades, gravies or sauces.
Is there a pure veg option?
Yes. Pure veg is an option — paneer, dal, sabzi, cooked separately. It is not the default and not the hero. The default box is Signature (veg + non-veg, meats kitchen-halal).
How does dinner actually work?
Check your postcode. Pick the Signature box. We deliver frozen across UK mainland. Straight into the freezer. Heat from frozen, 6–7 minutes, until piping hot. After-work dinner without the after-work cook. Skip or cancel any week.
What does it cost?
You pay for the dishes you choose — live prices on each plate. FIRST20 is 20% off a first box (same code as the homepage — not a new discount), then 15% off if you subscribe. Free delivery over £70. No lock-in.
Is Saakshi's / Saakshi's Kitchen halal?
Kitchen-halal meats, yes. Every meat we cook — chicken, lamb, mutton, keema — is halal. That is a kitchen policy, not a third-party certification stamp on the box. No pork. No alcohol in marinades, gravies or sauces. FSA 5-star kitchen.
Do you deliver halal Indian meals across the UK?
Yes, frozen across UK mainland. Check your postcode on this page. Some areas we cannot reach. We do not cook in a city kitchen we name on this site.
Is this a subscription? Can I skip a week?
You can subscribe or buy a box. Skip, pause, or cancel any week. No lock-in.
How do I heat the meals?
From frozen, 6–7 minutes, until piping hot. Straight from the freezer after work.
What meats do you cook?
Chicken, lamb, mutton, keema. All kitchen-halal. No pork.
Is the fish kitchen-halal too?
Fish is not meat in the same sense. Coconut Fish Curry is on the menu. The kitchen-halal rule is written for the meats we cook: chicken, lamb, mutton, keema.
Can a mixed household order?
Yes. Signature is veg + non-veg, meats kitchen-halal. Pure veg is cooked separately and is an option, not the default.
What code do I use?
FIRST20 — 20% off your first box, then 15% if you subscribe. No other code on this page.
Who should not use this page?
Students looking for halls delivery should not treat this as their page. Someone who will only eat meat with a named third-party cert stamp should not use this page. We will not put a logo we cannot stand behind.
